About Cory & Discover Intimacy

I am Cory Schmidt ( she/her ).  I have been married to my husband now for nearly 27 years and we have two adult daughters. All relationships take work; I know this because I have lived in one for over 30 years. I love working with all relationship dynamics because I am familiar and comfortable as I have provided this type of support to individuals for my last 20 years in personalized nursing. I specialized in working with same sex couples, younger adults age 18 and over to understand and navigate their sexuality, individuals with different backgrounds as open relationship couples as well.  I work both virtually over zoom and if you are local to Oneida, Wisconsin 54155 also in person sessions are available if you choose.  I am able and I have worked in different countries and able to work anywhere world wide virtually with Zoom. 

Both my husband and I have benefited from learning different communication styles and different techniques to love and deliver each other's love language. There is no perfect relationship.  Anyone who says so might not be telling the whole truth as to what struggles those in relationships will eventually have to face if not worked on prior.  We are recent empty nesters and have had back and forth expectations and then true reality comes and impacts us.  We are stronger than ever after learning the same tools as I  have to offer to you and your partner(s).  I have been an RN for 29 years this year specializing in Labor and Delivery, men & women's Sexual Health and Wellbeing as well as Transgender support.  I have realized the need for personalizing support when I worked as a personal nurse to support  both the body and the mind and how they connect and work or don't work sexually.  So many factors internally, our childhood, our history, and our current relationships impact sexual health and intimacy. I am thrilled and excited to share this with to achieve your goals with yourself and your relationship(s).
